ELECTRIC CAR HOME CHARGING

Start every day with a full charge.

When it comes to charging your Jaguar, there’s no place like home. Simply plug in your vehicle on an evening – just as you would your mobile phone – and by morning you can be fully charged and ready to go.

HOME CHARGERS – THE PERFECT WAY TO RECHARGE

For the fastest charging time at home, we recommend a professionally-installed home charger – also known as a wall box or home charging point.

Installation will typically require private off-street parking – such as a driveway or garage – to connect to your home’s electricity. Please check the suitability of your property with your chosen home charger provider.

  • WAKE UP READY TO GO

A home charger will charge an all-electric car overnight and deliver up to 22 miles* of range from 60 minutes using a 7kW supply.

  • SAVE MONEY EVERY MONTH

Charging at home is not only convenient, the cost of electricity is less per mile compared to petrol and diesel. And you can reduce this further with an off-peak electricity tariff.

  • QUALITY ASSURED

Our recommended home chargers come pre-approved by the government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and can be used in all weather conditions.

ARRANGING YOUR HOME CHARGER INSTALLATION

  • 1. CHOOSE YOUR PROVIDER

To start your wall box installation process, choose from our two recommended home charging partners – Pod Point or BP Chargemaster.4

  • 2. SUITABILITY SURVEY

Your chosen charging provider will undertake a survey over the phone or online to determine the suitability of your property for a wall box. General requirements include off-street parking, a suitable electrical power supply to your meter and a 100-amp main fuse.

  • 3. ARRANGE INSTALLATION DATE

Agree an installation date with your chosen provider. If you qualify for a government grant to help with the installation cost, your provider will do this on your behalf.

  • 4. INSTALLATION AND DEMO

Once your installation date comes around, your chosen provider will install your wall box and talk you through the basics of charging.

  • SAVE UP TO £350 WITH THE GOVERNMENT GRANT6

Jaguar all-electric and Plug-in Hybrid cars qualify for the government’s Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme. This provides up to £350 towards the installation of a wall box by an approved installer. If you are a Scottish resident you may also be eligible for up to £300 in additional support from the Energy Savings Trust.

  • THREE-PIN SOCKETS PROVIDE ADDED PEACE OF MIND

If you’re away from home for longer periods and a home charger is not accessible, the standard 3-pin plug socket used for electric household items will also charge your vehicle at a much slower rate. This is achieved by simply plugging in your Jaguar's optional Domestic Plug (Mode 2) charging cable.

††WLTP is the new official EU test used to calculate standardised fuel consumption and CO₂ figures for passenger cars. It measures fuel, energy consumption, range and emissions. This is designed to provide figures closer to real-world driving behaviour. It tests vehicles with optional equipment and with a more demanding test procedure and driving profile. Figures are shown as a range under WLTP testing measures. The lowest figures refer to the most economical/lightest set of options. The highest figures refer to the least economical/heaviest set of options. WLTP legislation dictates that where there is <5g CO₂ variance between the lowest and highest figures, only the highest is declared.

1Fuel Consumption: N/A. CO₂ Emissions: 0 (g/km). EV Range: Up to 292 miles. EV range figures are based upon production vehicle over a standardised route. Range achieved will vary dependent on vehicle and battery condition, actual route and environment and driving style. The figures provided are as a result of official manufacturer's tests in accordance with EU legislation. For comparison purposes only. Real world figures may differ. CO₂, fuel economy, energy consumption and range figures may vary according to factors such as driving styles, environmental conditions, load, wheel fitment and accessories fitted. All figures are an approximation based on the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) range of Jaguar I PACE, average UK fuel price, and the average price of UK electricity. Based on 10,000 miles per annum, 30 MPG for your current vehicle, fuel cost of 129.9p per litre, an electricity cost of £0.12827 per kWh and a WLTP Certified Combined consumption of 2.51 miles per kWh. Prices correct at time of publication. Estimate provided for illustrative purposes and real world figure may vary.
