When it comes to charging your Jaguar, there’s no place like home. Simply plug in your vehicle on an evening – just as you would your mobile phone – and by morning you can be fully charged and ready to go.

HOME CHARGERS – THE PERFECT WAY TO RECHARGE

For the fastest charging time at home, we recommend a professionally-installed home charger.

Installation will typically require private off-street parking – such as a driveway or garage – to connect to your home’s electricity unit. Please check the suitability of your property with your chosen home charger provider.

  • WAKE UP WITH 100% CHARGE*

A home charger will charge an electric car on the drive overnight and deliver up to 22 miles of range per hour using a 7kW supply.

  • SAVE MONEY EVERY MONTH

Charging an electric car with a home charger costs significantly less than refuelling with petrol or diesel. And you can reduce this even further with an off-peak electricity tariff.

  • QUALITY ASSURED

Our recommended home chargers come pre-approved by the government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and are safe to use in all weather conditions.

SAVE EVEN MORE WITH OFF-PEAK ELECTRICITY

One of the key benefits of overnight charging is that there’s less demand on the National Grid. This can mean substantially cheaper EV tariffs from energy companies, and some will even offer a tariff which uses electricity from renewable sources – further enhancing your electric car’s eco credentials.

Specific overnight charging times for off-peak electricity can easily be set via your Jaguar smartphone3 app and your vehicle’s Touchscreen4.

THREE-PIN SOCKETS PROVIDE ADDED PEACE OF MIND

If you’re away from home for longer periods and a home charger is not accessible, the standard 3-pin plug socket used for electric household items will also charge your vehicle at a much slower rate. This is achieved by simply plugging in your vehicle’s 2kW AC charging cable.
