STEP 1: ENSURE YOUR ACCOUNT IS ACTIVATED
To benefit from InControl services, you’ll first need to create your account online, registering your vehicle and activating the features you have purchased. If this has not already been carried out by your Retailer, visit the My Jaguar InControl website and create an account, entering your email address for a registration email to be sent to you. Click on the secure link in the email and follow the setup instructions on screen.
STEP 2: INSTALL YOUR SIM CARD
To enable connectivity to your vehicle, please install a SIM with a suitable data-only contract into the centre console. Touch Pro and Touch Pro Duo require a micro SIM.
INSERT SIM CARD
Depending on your system, insert the SIM card into the slot market ‘SIM’ or ‘MICRO SIM’ in the centre console. Ensure the SIM is fully inserted with the gold connectors facing upwards.

TURN ON MOBILE DATA
Once installed, go to the settings icon in any screen > All settings > Features > Connectivity > Mobile Data ON.
Your Touchscreen will now display a 4G or Wi-Fi icon. Please note, it may take up to two minutes for your screen to display ‘Reading SIM’ under ‘Mobile Data’.
STEP 3: CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth technology allows you to remotely connect a compatible mobile phone and its apps to your Jaguar. The device can then be controlled via voice activation and from the steering wheel or touch-screen for added convenience and safety.

STEP 4: CREATE A WI-FI HOTSPOT
Wi-Fi Hotspot allows up to eight devices to conveniently connect to a powerful in-car 4G hotspot while on the move. Once set up, we recommend turning it off until you need it. This prevents unnecessary data usage caused by routine background updates on your mobile device.
With your SIM installed and the ignition of your vehicle on, go to the settings icon in any screen > All settings > Features > Connectivity > 'Hotspot' ON. Select 'Hotspot' to see the network name and generate a password.
STEP 5: SET UP NAVIGATION SERVICES
When you first use Navigation, you will be prompted to create your profile and a navigation account. This allows you to save favourite destinations, previous journeys and navigation settings as well as enable additional connected navigation features.
CREATE A PROFILE
Once you have named your profile, you will be prompted to scroll to the bottom of the page. You now have a choice to ‘Turn on all features’ – these include historic traffic patterns and real time traffic information – or ‘Continue offline’ to disable all connected navigation features. A profile is required to allow more than one user of the navigation system. At least one profile must be created to use the system.
CREATE A NAVIGATION ACCOUNT
Once your profile has been created, you can create an account by selecting ‘Sign in’ on the main navigation screen. You will be prompted to accept the ‘Navigation Terms and Conditions’, which you can access by typing the given URL into your browser.
A navigation account allows you to download map updates, share places and your destination ETA to friends & family as well as sending destinations & places of interest to your vehicle via the InControl Route Planner App or website.
ENHANCE YOUR INCONTROL EXPERIENCE
INCONTROL REMOTE APP
Monitor your Jaguar’s health and status from your smartphone. If you have registered for Secure Tracker, you’ll need Remote App to receive theft alerts.
INCONTROL ROUTE PLANNER APP
Extend the journey planning capabilities of your Touch Pro Navigation System with Route Planner’s public transport or walking directions for your smartphone as well as being able to send destinations and other places of interest to your vehicle. When your vehicle next syncs to the cloud, destinations and places will be appear in the vehicle's navigation system.
InControl features, options and their availability remain market dependent - check with your Retailer for local market availability and full terms. Certain features require an appropriate sim with a suitable data contract which will require further subscription after the initial term advised by your Retailer. Mobile connectivity cannot be guaranteed in all locations.
