YOUR GUIDE TO HOME CHARGING POINTS

Delivering a full charge up to three times faster than a 3-pin socket, home charging points give you the confidence to go the distance every day of the year.

Completely weather-proof and designed to be discrete yet easily accessible, our recommended home charging solutions are approved by the government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and professionally installed by our home charging providers.

KEY BENEFITS OF MAKING THE SWITCH

  • I-PACE plugged into home wall-box

    100% CHARGE OVERNIGHT

Home charge points can take as little as 13 hours to fully charge, compared to the 45 hours it usually takes to charge a vehicle using a 3-pin household socket. So just like plugging in your mobile phone to charge overnight, charging your I‑PACE should become part of your nightly routine.

    COST SAVINGS

Charging a plug-in electric vehicle can cost significantly less than refuelling with petrol or diesel. And you can reduce this cost further still by charging at home and taking advantage of a cheaper overnight electricity tariff, instead of relying on a public charge point.

  • Person using Smart Enabled app

    SMART ENABLED

Every home charging point from our recommended partners comes smart enabled, meaning you can conveniently activate and deactivate your charging progress straight from your phone.

SAVE £350 WITH THE GOVERNMENT GRANT

Jaguar I-PACE qualifies for the government’s Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme. This provides up to £350 towards the installation of a home charging point by an approved installer. If you are a Scottish resident you may also be eligible for an additional £300 from the Energy Savings Trust.

To qualify for the grant, you will need to:

- Have off-street parking
- Install an OLEV-approved charging point
- Have a maximum of one charging point per eligible vehicle and a maximum of two per household
- Install your home charger no more than four months before the delivery of your vehicle or the date you become the registered driver of the vehicle

Choose between a permanently tethered point or a universal socket to suit your daily driving needs.
