  • As electricity is not considered to be a fuel, plug-in electric vehicles do not incur fuel duty for the electricity they use and are therefore exempt from VED.
  • The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) provides grant funding of up to 75% towards the cost of installing electric vehicle charge points at domestic properties across the UK. The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points, for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
  • Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECAs) - businesses that purchase cars which emit less than 75g/km CO2 (Jaguar I-PACE), zero emission goods vehicles, or ULEV recharging or refuelling infrastructure, are eligible for 100% first year allowance. Please consult your local retailer to find out more.
  • Free charging facilities may be available while you are parked at shopping centres, hotels and other venues. This is referred to as destination charging. Others may offer reduced charging fees based on your time spent at the venue.
  • Where road use charges exist, it is sometimes the case that electric vehicles are exempt. And, of course, they will not be required to pay any emissions-based charges introduced for petrol or diesel cars for air quality reasons.
  • In some cities, electric vehicles are permitted to use high-occupancy vehicle lanes, without passengers, as well as bus lanes. You may also park in places where petrol or diesel vehicles are not permitted or can park at a lower cost.

Incentives vary, and can change without prior notice. Please consult your Jaguar Retailer to find out more.

1I-PACE’s warranty is limited to 8 years or 100,000 miles (160,000km) (whichever comes first). It is redeemable in the case of any manufacturing defect or should a certified Jaguar retailer measure that the battery has dropped below a 70 percent state of health.
