ZERO TAILPIPE EMISSIONS

With no tailpipe emissions, Jaguar I‑PACE Is a vehicle you can trust to help safeguard the sustainability of your business as well as the world beyond. In fact, out on the road it’s a compelling reflection of your organisation’s commitment to a cleaner planet.

  • 0% BENEFIT IN KIND TAX*

In April 2020, the UK Government will introduce a new scale to calculate company car tax based on the number of emission-free miles they can cover. Under this mandate, Jaguar I‑PACE owners won’t pay any monthly benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax charges for the financial year 2020/21.

  • LOWER SERVICING COSTS

Compared to a petrol or diesel engine, electric vehicles have much fewer moving parts that can wear out – and that means lower servicing costs. Additionally, Jaguar I‑PACE includes a comprehensive 8-year or 100,000-mile battery warranty – whichever comes first.

  • FUEL SAVINGS

Recharging an electric vehicle can cost significantly less than topping up at a fuel station. At home, you can save even more by using a home charger on a cheaper overnight off-peak electricity tariff.

  • ZERO VEHICLE EXCISE DUTY*

Across the UK, Jaguar I‑PACE is exempt from the regular £140 road tax and any emissions-based charges, including the London Congestion Charge. In many cities, it is also permitted to use vehicle lanes and parking spaces where other vehicle access is restricted.

  • LOWER NATIONAL INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS (NIC)*

Employers currently pay Class 1A NICs on the taxable BIK for vehicles and private fuel provided to employees at a rate of 13.8%. Because of the lower BIK rate of electric cars, employers will pay lower NICs than on equivalent petrol or diesel vehicles.

  • 100% WRITE DOWN ALLOWANCE*

As a vehicle with zero tailpipe emissions, Jaguar I‑PACE qualifies for 100% write down allowance. This means you can deduct its full value from your annual profits before tax.

SAVE UP TO £10,000 ON WORKPLACE CHARGING

The government’s Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) reduces the purchase and installation cost of a new workplace charging point by up to 75% (capped at £500 per point). A business can claim a maximum of 20 single charge points or 10 double socket charge points.
