  1. FIVE THINGS YOU HAD TO SEE AT THE GOODWOOD 2017 JAGUAR STAND

We celebrated Jaguar’s game-changing performance in style at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017. Here are five of our highlights.

    • 1. XF SPORTBRAKE MADE ITS DEBUT

With XF Sportbrake having only been revealed on the 14th June, this was the first chance for visitors to take a look at the dynamic and refined new model. Stylish and versatile, the vehicle drew crowds and impressed with its assertive design.

      2. XE SV PROJECT 8’S FIRST PUBLIC ROAR

We unveiled our most extreme performance Jaguar ever, XE SV Project 8, which is still in pre-production. It’s the fastest, most powerful and most expensive road-legal Jaguar in history. With its aggressive design and the awe-inspiring roar of its engine, visually striking XE SV Project 8 brought a hive of activity. Jaguar enthusiasts watched on with exhilaration as we unleashed the performance icon onto the hillclimb. With production limited to just 300 cars worldwide, this was a rare opportunity to witness Jaguar history in the making.

      3. PROFESSIONAL DRIFTING

The Jaguar Drift Experience saw visitors sit in the F-TYPE R-Dynamic 380ps or XE S with a professional driver and experience our vehicles' full potential. Jaguar enthusiasts queued all along the Jaguar stand, waiting in anticipation as smoke, tyre squeals and the scent of burning rubber permeated the air around.

      4. I-PACE CONCEPT

Guests were keen to admire Jaguar’s first all-electric five-seater sports car, which was on public display for the first time in the UK. The vehicle will bring thrilling Jaguar performance to electric vehicles when it becomes available to test drive in the second half of 2018. Attendees were excited to get a first glimpse of the innovative vehicle on the plinth, where it was displayed opposite the I-TYPE.

      5. I-TYPE FORMULA E

I-TYPE was also on display this year, ahead of the next Formula E race in Brooklyn, New York. Formula E drivers Mitch Evans and Adam Carroll were also on the Jaguar stand and even surprised some lucky guests with impromptu drives around the drift track. We displayed Panasonic Jaguar’s all-electric Formula E race car opposite the I-PACE Concept. It is not only our race car, but also the test bed for future electric powertrain development that will influence cars of the future, as it has the I-PACE Concept.
