Jaguar's engineers have introduced a new means of connecting a digital audio player through your car's entertainment system. Jaguar now provides an elegant solution to the tangle of wires and inferior sound quality of previous in-car playback methods for portable digital music players.

The Audio Connectivity Module means that now you can play the music on your mp3 player through your Jaguar's in-car entertainment system. Your player sits discreetly in the centre armrest or glove box, and is connected to your car hi-fi by one of three available connectors.
Owners of the Apple iPod will be delighted to know that their player offers the greatest degree of integration with the car. The player can be accessed from the steering wheel-mounted controls and playlist and track numbers will appear on the head unit screen.

If you own one of the many other brands of mp3 player, however, there's no need for concern. Any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone socket can be connected including CD players, cassette players. These players will still offer volume control via the radio head unit or steering wheel mounted controls.

The versatile system will allow full functionality of the in-car entertainment system along with other functions, such as Satellite Navigation, CD changer, phone and so on and there will be no need to upgrade the head unit.
