ABOUT FORMULA E

ABOUT FORMULA E

Founded in 2014, the FIA Formula E Championship is fast becoming the most exciting series in the motorsports calendar. With wheel-to-wheel action at blistering speeds, played out on weaving street circuits the world over, Formula E is a unique and thrillingly interactive experience for all.

By running all Formula E teams on the same chassis and battery unit, the playing field is levelled with an emphasis on driver skills and the ability to deliver power while maintaining optimum battery performance.

Formula E takes the racing to the people, with circuits assembled overnight right in the heart of the host cities. See below for your nearest race.
